The Ezra is a compact leather handbag from The Chesterfield Brand, an everyday bag for when you are out and about in style. The handbag measures 25 x 12 x 20 cm. It is made from Wax Pull-Up leather in black. Three main compartments divide the contents. The central one closes with a zipper and keeps keys and other valuables secure. In one of the outer compartments, a smartphone pocket and four card slots give your phone and cards a fixed place, while the other has an inner zip pocket for small valuables and room for a glasses case. If you order before 3:30 PM on weekdays, your order will be shipped the same day from our warehouse in the Netherlands. Shipping times depend on the destination, but can be as quick as 1-2 days in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Shipping costs start from € 4,95 and free shipping is available for most of Western Europe.

Materials

This is The Chesterfield Brand's most commonly used leather. After pressing, the leather is manually colored with aniline color soﬀes that are impregnated with natural oils and waxes instead of dyes and pigments. This soft finish ensures that the fabrics do not stay on the skin, but instead soak into the pores of the skin creating the natural vintage look. Because this leather is only waxed and not sprayed with color, it is a very durable product and retains its quality and color.

How can I contact customer service?

How can I return an item?

Within the EU, exchanging is free: choose another item, colour or size temporarily until 31 December, via our returns page.

Prefer store credit? That is free too, plus a little extra. If you choose a refund to your original payment method, we deduct €4.95 in return costs.

Returning from outside the EU? Then you arrange and pay for the return shipment yourself. Gift packaging is non-refundable.

How do I best take care of my leather item(s)?

Once you receive your product, it’s ready to use. We don’t recommend treating it with leather wax beforehand. To enjoy your leather items for as long as possible, we suggest maintaining them properly. Treat your Chesterfield Brand items at least four times a year for the best protection.

We’ve developed special products to help with this, like our Leather Wax and or Wax Spray. This product cleans and cares for the leather all in one go. The wax is colorless, dries quickly, and doesn’t stick, making it suitable for all leather colors. We’ve also made a handy instructional video that you can find on our care tips page. Never apply the leather wax directly to the product; always use a cloth or piece of fabric to spread the wax evenly.

Additionally, we have a Protection Spray that helps prevent your leather bag from transferring color onto light clothing. Color transfer can happen under certain conditions, especially in warm weather and with perspiration. This spray has been specially developed in collaboration with the manufacturer for optimal results.

With these tips and products, your leather bag will stay in great condition!

Due to current shipping regulations, it’s unfortunately not possible to order the Protection Spray and Wax Spray for customers outside the EU.

Where do The Chesterfield Brand products come from?

Our products come from India. We work closely with experienced suppliers there to create unique leather. We regularly visit the factories and ensure that every step of the production process is of high quality. We only choose SA8000 and/or SEDEX certified factories and use leather that complies with the REACH standard. A lot of our leather is vegetable-tanned, meaning it's chrome-free.

The hides for our products mainly come from India and Poland. We use 90% cowhide and 10% buffalo leather. Leather is a by-product of the meat industry, and we turn it into sustainable, beautiful products. For example, our Cow Wax Pull Up leather is treated with natural waxes and oils, resulting in a soft and flexible finish. This leather can be easily re-treated, which contributes to the durability and lifespan of your product.

What types of leather does The Chesterfield Brand use?
