How can I return an item?

You can easily return your order through our return procedure. We charge a return fee of €4.95, which will be deducted from the amount you receive back. It is possible to choose a different carrier, but we do not cover these costs. Gift packaging is non-refundable.

Different rules apply for customers outside EU.

How do I best care for my leather item(s)?

As soon as you get your product, it's ready to use. We don't recommend treating it with leather wax beforehand.To make sure your leather item(s) last as long as possible, we recommend maintaining them regularly. Treat your Chesterfield Brand item(s) at least 4 times a year for the best protection.

We've developed special products to help you out, like our Leather Wax and Wax Spray. These products clean and care for the leather all in one go. The wax is colorless, dries quickly, and doesn't stick, making it suitable for all leather colors (except for the Novum Series). We also made a handy instruction video that you can find on our care tips page. Never apply the leather wax directly to the product; always use a cloth or piece of fabric to spread the wax evenly.

Additionally, we have a Protection Spray that helps prevent your leather bag from transferring color onto light clothing. Color transfer can happen under certain conditions, especially in warm weather or when sweating. This spray was specially developed in collaboration with the manufacturer for optimal results. 

With these tips and products, your leather bag will stay in top condition! 

Due to current shipping regulations, customers outside the EU unfortunately can't order the Protect Spray and Wax Spray. 

Where do The Chesterfield Brand products come from?

Our products come from India. We work closely with experienced suppliers there to create unique leather. We regularly visit the factories and ensure that every step of the production process is of high quality. We only choose SA8000 and/or SEDEX certified factories and use leather that complies with the REACH standard. A lot of our leather is vegetable-tanned, meaning it's chrome-free. 

The hides for our products mainly come from India and Poland. We use 90% cowhide and 10% buffalo leather. Leather is a by-product of the meat industry, and we turn it into sustainable, beautiful products. For example, our Cow Wax Pull Up leather is treated with natural waxes and oils, resulting in a soft and flexible finish. This leather can be easily re-treated, which contributes to the durability and lifespan of your product. 

What types of leather does The Chesterfield Brand use? 

We use two types of leather: cow leather and buffalo leather. With this leather, we've developed various finishes. You can find more information about this on this page: "Our leather" page.

The Chesterfield Brand uses only the best quality leathers for the production of leather wallets. When designing our purses, we combine sustainable quality with timeless designs. Before a wallet leaves our factory, it is subjected to a comprehensive quality control. This ensures that with a Chesterfield wallet you purchase a product that you will enjoy for years.

Leather Wallets with RFID security

The RFID protection in our wallets is unique. You may think of hard metal cases in a wallet to keep your cards safe. This is not the case with The Chesterfield Brand. We use unique, soft materials in the lining of our leather wallets. This allows every Chesterfield wallet to retain its classic model while your money is safe.

Due to the use of highest quality leathers in our products you may assume that your leather wallet lasts for years. The use of full grain leather ensures that quality is guaranteed. Full-grain leather is known as the best leather available. Our wax pull-up leather undergoes a special wax treatment. This absorbs a special wax into the leather which makes it very soft and gives it a unique touch. Where scratches on other leathers always remain visible, our leather has the characteristic that scratches may easily be rubbed away with a soft cloth. This keeps your leather purse in top condition for years.
