At The Chesterfield Brand, we take pride in the design, materials, and craftsmanship of our luggage. We build our products to last and to be your trusted companion on journeys near and far. That is why your Chesterfield Brand suitcase is covered by a 5-Year Limited Warranty.
Our Guarantee
This commercial warranty is valid for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase.
For the next five years, your suitcase is covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. That means: if a problem occurs that is caused by a flaw in its construction, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion. Simple as that.

What's covered?
This warranty covers functional defects that arise from the manufacturing process, including:
- Defective stitching or seams that unravel.
- Faulty zippers and zipper pulls.
- Defective hardware, including locks, buckles and rivets.
- Telescoping handles that are faulty or no longer function due to a manufacturing issue.
What's not covered?
Our warranty is designed to cover defects in manufacturing, not the natural wear and tear that comes from a life of travel. We see the usual travel scars, scratches, scuffs, and minor dents as badges of honour, proof of your adventures.
The following are not covered by this warranty:
- Normal wear and tear: This includes worn wheels, scuffed corners, scratches, and the natural patina or marks developed on leather accents over time.
- Damage by third parties: Any damage caused by airline baggage handling, private courier services, or other transport companies. We strongly advise you to inspect your luggage upon retrieval and file a claim directly with the carrier if damage has occurred.
- Accidental damage or misuse: Damage such as tears, cuts, burns, and stains resulting from accidents, improper care, neglect, or use for purposes other than what the product was designed for.

Cosmetic damage: Scratches, dents, stains, or colour changes that do not impair the overall functionality of the product.
How to make a Warranty Claim
To begin a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

Your original proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation). Please keep this safe, as it is your ticket to warranty service.

If your claim is approved, we will either repair the item or replace it with the same or a comparable model, at our discretion.
